Plenty of Wolves fans have reacted to the news that the club will not be asking their players to take a pay cut or a wage deferral during the coronavirus crisis.
According to Joe Edwards from the Express and Star, some clubs in the top flight at the moment are considering taking some cost-cutting measures, with football set to return to a professional level within England at April 30 at the earliest.
Nevertheless, Wolves will not be one of those sides, alongside fellow Birmingham clubs West Bromwich Albion and Aston Villa.
All football below the National League North and South has been cancelled and the results have been expunged, and whether that is a sign of things to come is dependent on the way in which the virus continues to spread.
There was a pretty mixed response from fans, with many being happy with the fact that the club are not putting workers’ wages at risk, while others thought that perhaps the footballers could be using their wages elsewhere to try and support the system during this tough time.
Here are some of the responses below…
get started on rebuilding the steve bull stand, the seasons over and if it does restart it will be behind closed doors anyway

A nice gesture would be for them all to take a cut in their huge pay packets and donate the money to the NHS workers. Take a typical nurse, likely to take home a year what a premier league player gets in 2-3 days! Just let that sink in
