Wolves came back with a bang following the September international break and picked up our second win of the Premier League season as we hosted Burnley at the Molineux.

A Raul Jimenez strike just after the hour mark in the game was enough to give us all three points on the day as we picked up the clean sheet to maximise the positives and having dominated for large parts of the game, the win was nothing more than we deserved.

In fact, saying we dominated we had 30 efforts at goal, but with only seven on target, manager Nuno Espirito Santo will still be looking for improvements.

Having scored the winner, it’s no great surprise to see Jimenez receive WhoScored’s green star nod with a rating of 7.96 but we had six other players with a rating of above 7 and that should demonstrate the control we had on the game, even if the scoreline should certainly have been higher.

It’s about steps though, it’s another three points on the board and confidence can only be improved on the back of it.
