Diogo Jota was hailed by supporters after grabbing a brace in Wolverhampton Wanderers’ 3-0 win over Norwich City. The 23-year-old has been in fine form of late, bagging a hat-trick in Wolves’ Europa League win over Espanyol (February 20) and now has five goals to his name in just 147 minutes of football.
Jota’s first goal of the game came in the 19th minute at Molineux. Matt Doherty collected a cross on the edge of the box and passed to Jota who took the ball on the turn and volleyed through Tim Krul’s legs. His second goal was a close-range tap-in on the half-hour mark, after Romain Saiss fired a cross into the six-yard box.

Jota
The little Portuguese sensation has found his groove again.
The 352 formation really suits him and allows him to drift in the middle, drawing players around him and freeing up space for others.
Unlucky not to get another hat-trick today. #wolves #wwfc

He also quite obviously took advantage of Diogo Jota returning to form. He now appears into one those purple patches that define his career at Wolves and it’s time to cash in on his excellence when it’s at its peak #WWFC

Don't mind these comments. Jota on his game is unplayable & every bit a Champions League player. We have to get there to keep the likes of him & Neves.
One thing I do disagree with is likening him to David Silva. Great player, but Jota's playing style is more Eden Hazard #wwfc https://t.co/yK5fimYrTq

Against Norwich, Jota played for 90 minutes, made 43 touches, created two chances, completed 81.5% of his 27 passes, had four shots with 50% accuracy, whipped in one cross, found a teammate with 100% of his long balls, made two tackles, drew two fouls and had one successful dribble.
Where will Wolverhampton Wanderers finish in the Premier League?
1st - 4th
5th - 10th
11th - 15th
16th - 20th
The 23-year-old has made 34 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring and creating 19 goals. He’s on fire of late and will hope to continue his impressive run of form when Wolves face Espanyol in the second leg of their Europa League last-32 clash on Thursday.
