Over the weekend Wolverhampton Wanderers confirmed that Nuno Espirito Santo’s side would be making the short trip across the Midlands to visit Stoke City’s Bet365 Stadium in pre-season.
Wolves will travel to the bet365 Stadium to face @stokecity in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday, 25th July (7.45pm kick-off). #STOvWOL

The game against the Potters becomes our first confirmed domestic fixture as we warm up to life in the Premier League following our Championship title success this year. The game has been set for Wednesday, July 25 and the game will carry a 7.45pm kick-off slot.
The game obviously comes after we return from a training camp in Uhrencup, Switzerland, and whilst we are out there we will take in games against FC Basel and BSC Young Boys.
Having last faced Stoke in the FA Cup in January last year, boosting hopes of a good performance and victory will be the 2-0 win with goals coming from Helder Costa and Matt Doherty.
Further details and ticket prices for the match will be announced in due course, but with Stoke City suffering relegation last season as we clinched promotion, that certainly hasn’t gone unnoticed by fans!
Of either club to be fair, their twitter feed is quite tasty.
Be good for us to test ourselves against a solid Championship outfit before we kick off our PL campaign… ????

To prove if the new signings can do it at a cold, rainy night in Stoke

Pity it couldn't be a Stoke and boggies double. I think they both would like to play a big club ????????????
