I think it’s fair to say that most Wolverhampton Wanderers fans would’ve given Raul Jimenez their Man of the Match following last Saturday’s victory over Bournemouth at the Molineux.

The 27-year-old opened the scoring on the day in the 12th minute to set us on our way to victory and a stoppage-time effort from Ivan Cavaleiro ensure our form continued to head in the right direction after recent struggles.

Jimenez will certainly take the headlines as he made it five goals for the campaign (all have come on home soil) but statistics website Whoscored gave their star man rating to Conor Coady for his efforts at the back.

Picking up a score of 7.58 from the game, he pushed Jimenez into second place who received 7.47 for his efforts.

The top five on the day were completed by Matt Doherty, Ruben Neves and Helder Costa.

Up to seventh in the Premier League table and three wins on the spin.
