Wolves have not had the greatest run of luck on injuries lately, but it sounds like Ståle Solbakken isn’t overly concerned by the latest casualty.

The strikers thigh injury has forced him out of the Republic of Ireland squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Germany and the Faroe Islands.

Doyle has had a scan on the injury and it is thought that it should only keep him out of action for two weeks, which could mean a return for the Huddersfield game on October 20th.

“I don`t think Kevin Doyle`s injury is too bad – Huddersfield is a possibility, we don`t know yet.’ Ståle Solbakken told Wolves Official Website.

He continued: “He`s had a scan and he`s having treatment in his first week and we`ll see what happens next week.

“Of course we want him back but he`s not our biggest injury concern – he`s maybe going to take 14 days.”
