Premier League vultures have been circling around Molineux for the best part of five months.
Ever since it was clear that we would drop out of the Premier League, the other clubs who successfully avoided the drop or who have made the leap out of the Championship have been eyeing up our players.
Matt Jarvis has been linked with around half the clubs who will make up next seasons Premier League, while Steven Fletcher has also been courting interest from the likes of Sunderland.
Media reports suggest that to-date Wolves have fended off any enquiring approaches, but thus far have not had to bat away any solid bids.
Wolves new gaffer Ståle Solbakken has braced himself for such offers and when the time comes he knows both the clubs and the players involved will have to make the right decision.
‘With Jarvis and Fletcher the situation is as it should be, They’re good, attractive players, and know they can attract interest from the Premier League clubs.’ Ståle Solbakken told Wolves Official Website.
He continued: ‘You have to be open minded and you have to be ready for every outcome and I think both of them are.
‘At the moment they’re Wolverhampton players but there can be big fish out there who suddenly come in with an offer that’s a once-in-a-lifetime offer for them, and also a very good deal for the club.
‘We have to make sure we’re ready for that.
Vital Wolves Comment: Sounds like they will be off soon, just a matter of where and for how much?
