The November international break was always going to see a kick up in transfer speculation for Wolverhampton Wanderers as real news disappeared for a fortnight, and reports are already circling in Turkey linking Galatasaray with a move for out of favour Leo Bonatini.

The Brazilian 24-year-old exploded into life at the Molineux following his arrival from Al-Hilal, bagging 12 goals in his opening 20 Championship appearances – but his winner against Birmingham City back in December 2017 was the last time he found the back of the net.

Eyebrows were raised when Wolves continued to purchase him on a permanent basis over the summer, but he’s well down head coach Nuno Espirito Santo’s pecking order now and he’s only made one appearance in each of the last two months.

With the topic of goalscoring being high on the agenda, I think most expect we’ll cut our losses on Bonatini now in the January window to free up a gap for somebody else, and Fotospor are now claiming the Turkish giants are interested.

Galatasaray were linked with 100’s of players during the summer and Fotospor seem to be as about as reliable as the Sun and Daily Star on transfer rumours, so I don’t see this one coming to anything, but it’s not going to be the last link about the striker that we see.
