Wolves man Karl Henry may have enjoyed the game against Villa, but couldn’t believe we didn’t get the earlier penalty claim.
The points may have been shared after Ebanks-Blake hammered home a late penalty, but the talking point after the game was how did Kevin Doyle not get awarded an earlier penalty shout?
‘Villa are a good side who did well last season and we’d probably have taken a point before the game.’ Henry told Wolves Official Website.
Henry went on to add that he enjoyed the game, especially the tactical battle: ‘We were really enjoying it out there and tried to outnumber them in midfield given they play with the two wingers and eventually they had to change it.’
On the penalty decision involving Doyle, Henry wasn’t amused by not being awarded the decision, adding: ‘I’ve heard for years people saying how smaller teams don’t tend to get the decisions in this league and now I can well believe it.’
