Wolverhampton Wanderers host Leicester City later this evening in the third round of this years EFL Cup.
Following the Championship title and our promotion back to the Premier League for 2018/19, Wolves entered the competition at the second round stage and took a 2-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.
We arrived at this stage of the @Carabao_Cup with a Round Two victory over @swfc. Take a look back at the highlights from Hillsborough.

Leicester will be far tougher opponents and that won’t come as a surprise to anybody as although we sit in tenth place in the top-flight table, they are tied on points with us, sitting in ninth, but have won one more game – also suffering a few more defeats. They obviously took a 2-0 victory over us in mid-August as well.
It should certainly be an interesting tie though and we can expect both sides to make changes, head coach Nuno Espirito Santo definitely will to give game time to those who have missed out in the league competition and we might get to see some youngsters on display once more.
Our social media section of fans are relishing the clash.
This is the fourth time in three years I've dragged my reluctant girlfriend to watch Wolves live and she's never seen them win. Can Nuno weave that motivation into his pre-match speech and get us a result this time, please? 😉
