Lots of Wolves fans have reacted on Twitter after the club posted a video of a classic goal.
With the coronavirus outbreak putting a halt to football, thus limiting the amount of content each club can be put out, many teams have had to resort to putting out classical moments to keep the supporters entertained.
Yesterday, the Wolves Twitter account decided to turn to a classic moment from way back in 1972, where the club managed to beat Manchester United 3-1, including a header from a hall-of-famer in Derek Dougan.
Unsurprisingly, Wolves fans don’t need many invitations to get excited over a great scoring a classic goal.
There’s no surprise he’s got legendary status at the club, either, with 123 goals coming from his 323 performances for Wanderers.
Lots of fans responded to the tweet, with many describing what a player Dougan was, while others talked about how good the team was back in that era.
Here are some of those replies below…

Went to that game, great performance.
We were on a really good run at the time.
Some great players in that team who have become legends.
Munro, Parkin, Hibbitt, Richards, Dougan and Wagstaffe.

Was there, stood in the Scoreboard paddock, scary place for a young Wolves fan on his own

It took a long time from the days of the early 70s for the team to be consistently battling in the top half of the Premier League – but they look to be at that stage now.
