Following Bakary Sako quitting Wolverhampton Wanderers, he has been linked with Aston Villa, West Brom, Everton, Leicester and most recently Bournemouth.
Sako is currently a free agent after his £20,000-a-week contract at Molineux expired, with Sako showing no intention of agreeing a new deal to remain at Wolves.
The 27-year-old Mali international’s agent has been chasing a reported £80,000-a-week deal in a bid to cash in on the fact that clubs will not need to pay a transfer fee to take him.
But it seems his future is far from clear.
What is clear though is Wolves need to replace him if we are going to challenge for promotion to the Premier League next season.
“I do see the case for being able to replace Sako, yes.
“Sako got 11 goals outfield and four penalties and so getting a wide man with that type of record isn`t necessarily easy. Jackett told the Express & Star.
He continued: “Strengthening our wide area is something we`re looking at, but getting someone in with his strengths is quite unusual and being able to guarantee 15 goals from left wing is quite hard to replace.”
