How much longer can it go on?
Sod’s Law says time has to be running out and Mick McCarthy’s men have to get their act together fast.
Because if they don’t, there is the very real risk that one of the chasing pack will, and the psychological blow of losing the long held top position could have a catastrophic effect on the side.
It’s time to find the extra gear that was in evidence at the start of the season.
