Wolverhampton Wanderers have been linked with a few Liverpool players so far this season, with Jurgen Klopp reportedly tracking a few of ours, but one name who hasn’t gone away and has got another outing this week, is 18-year-old Rafa Camacho.

The likes of the Birmingham Mail have suggested that we’re potentially lining up a £10million bid for the youngster given he looks certain to leave Anfield at the end of the current campaign.

As well as links with a move to the Molineux, the Mail reference Portuguese press stating that the frontrunners for his signature are Sporting Lisbon, but apparently he continues to want to prove himself in England so Wolves by default become his preferred option.

Having scored a hattrick in their Under 23 game against Leicester City, the player apparently hit out on social media given his unhappiness at playing right back.

“I do not know whose idea it is, but I will prove that they are mistaken about my football. I’m not a right defender, I’m an attacker who scores goals. This is my DNA. Happy to score 3 goals and help the team in today’s win vs Leicester.”

Confidence certainly isn’t an issue for him based on that but I’d question mentality if he thought that was sensible to criticise his coaches in that manner. A big thing at Wolves is spirit afterall.
