Wolverhampton Wanderers star striker Raul Jimenez has had a great first year at the Molineux following his arrival from Benfica last summer.
The 28-year-old Mexican international had a few adjustment issues as most expected when he came into the club but 40 starting appearances later, with four showings from the bench, he had more than proven his worth to the side as he backed up his work rate and team ethic by banging in 17 goals across all competitions as well as chipping in with seven assists in the top flight as we finished in seventh spot in the Premier League table.
With a good club year behind him, as well as now being our record signing as we pushed the permanent deal through, he’s now on international duty for his country as they prepare for the CONCACAF Gold Cup campaign this summer.
Finish from @Raul_Jimenez9! 👏
