Could Roy Keane be the man to steer Wolves away from the relegation trap door?
The 40-year-old Irishman who has managed Sunderland and Ipswich, isn’t yet a favourite amongst the bookies.
With all the speculation regarding Steve Bruce and Alan Curbishley, the oddsmakers still believe they are the front runners, but Roy Keane has recently seen his odds shorten to just 5/1 over the weekend and the Daily Mail have reported that he could be the man that Jez Moxey and Steve Morgan turn too.
Reports have suggested that neither Bruce or Curbishley are willing to take the managerial post on a short term basis.
The media have speculated that offers had been made to both men for a 13 game stint to see how the land lies at the end of the season, with neither keen to take on such a short term vision.
Roy Keane however is said to be happy to prove himself over that period.
During his time at Sunderland and Ipswich, Keane has been in charge of 181 games, winning 70 times and losing 69, but left both clubs under a dark cloud.
