Wolves manager Mick McCarthy has confirmed what most fans allready knew, that Freddy Eastwood will be leaving the club this summer.

The £1.5m striker will move in a bid to gain a regular starting place, something he has failed to do since his arrival last year from Southend.

An instant hit with the fans, Freddy didn’t take long to open his account, rattling in 4 goals in quick succession, but then as swiftly as he arrived, he faded into the background, frozen out by Mick McCarthy, leaving fans perplexed at his absence from the starting 11.

“It`s nothing personal, it`s just not worked out how either I or Freddy would have liked.

“I thought he would fit into my team but he hasn`t.

“There are times when he has not done well enough and I have said to him maybe that`s me as well.

“He wants to play, so is available for transfer.” McCarthy said in The Birmingham Post.

Why he has failed to settle at Molineux is anyones guess, with only the player and manager knowing the answer to why Freddy Eastwood’s name is the latest to be engraved at the Wolves strikers graveyard.
