Report: Wolves ‘submit loan offer’ for highly-rated midfielder

|

According to Foot Mercato, Wolverhampton Wanderers have ‘submitted a loan offer’ for Enzo Loiodice, but FCO Dijon won’t accept the offer and are only willing to agree a permanent deal for the highly-rated midfielder.

Loiodice looks on his way out of the Stade Gaston Gérard as he’s been short of playing time this season. The 19-year-old has made only six appearances in all competitions, racking up a meagre 213 minutes of football.

He’s spent the majority of the campaign out of the matchday squad and could be open to a move elsewhere. That being said, whether Loiodice would get regular football over Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho remains to be seen. He’d likely have to settle for a place on the bench or in the reserves.

The young midfielder has represented France at u20 level on three occasions and has a total of 21 Ligue 1 appearances under his belt. He’s just fallen out of favour under Stéphane Jobard this season which is why Wolves are looking to capitalise on the situation.

Foot Mercato don’t say whether Wolves are willing to sign Loiodice permanently this month, but it doesn’t appear they’ll get their man any other way.
