Wolves are one of several Premier League clubs interested in signing central midfielder Idrissa Gueye from PSG, a report from French outlet Le10Sport has claimed.

Gueye only joined PSG from Everton for a reported £30million last summer, but despite making 34 appearances in all competitions for the French giants, it seems he could be on the move again this summer.

According to the latest reports, Wolves are among the clubs interested in bringing Gueye back to the Premier League, and it seems PSG’s stance could help them to do that.

It is thought that manager Thomas Tuchel is keen to sell Gueye this summer, although the midfielder himself is apparently keen to stay in the French capital.

As things stand, there are currently three years remaining on Gueye’s current contract with PSG, meaning his future at the Parc Des Princes is secure until the end of the 2022/23 season.

Along with Wolves, Crystal Palace, Manchester United and West Ham have all also been credited with an interest in bringing Gueye back to the Premier League this summer.

This could certainly be a good signing for Nuno’s side, providing they are able to pull it off.

Gueye was brilliant for Everton in the lead up to his move to France, and would add an air of dominance in the centre of the park to a Wolves side that is not short on creativity, further ensuring the club are strong in all aspects of the game.

However, PSG will surely be determined to recoup a big chunk of what they paid Everton for the 30-year-old, and with Gueye seemingly keen to stay, it could take a big offer in terms of both fee and wages to complete this deal, meaning it is a transfer that appears unlikely to be cheap.
