According to Le10 Sport, Manchester City, Liverpool and Manchester United are ‘positioned’ on Adama Traore. Bayern Munich ‘could also play a role’ this summer.

The 24-year-old is coming off the back of an impressive season and has attracted interest from a host of suitors, but it remains to be seen whether Wolverhampton Wanderers are willing to cash in on one of their best assets.

Which club did Wolves sign Raul Jimenez from?

Traore joined Wolves for £18m from Middlesbrough in 2018 and has gone on to make 79 appearances in all competitions, scoring seven goals and making 13 assists. The Spanish winger has been prolific this season too, contributing a total of 16 goals in 43 games, so Wolves would be mad to sell him.

The Midlands outfit are targeting a top-four finish in the Premier League and won’t return to being a selling club as it would kill their chances of getting Champions League football next season. Wolves have spent more than £100m in each of the last two campaigns so they’re under no obligation to cash in on players.

The only factor that could result in Traore leaving is the calibre of clubs linked. The 24-year-old may consider a switch to Man City, Liverpool, Man Utd and Bayern, so it will be interesting to see if the suitors make their interest official.
