21-year-old Spanish youngster Rafa Mir largely enjoyed a good loan spell out with Las Palmas in the 2018/19 campaign but if the following report is to be believed, Wolverhampton Wanderers are looking for a significant step up from the former Valencia talent.

Having moved to the Molineux back in the January 2018 window, he’s only made one start for us since then, with three further showings coming from the substitutes bench and although it was a mixed spell in the Segunda Division, he did score seven times in 19 starts and eleven substitute showings and there had been plenty of expectation that we’d send him out on loan again next season to further his experience.

A few days back we had links with Granada and a potential return to Las Palmas with both offering La Liga experience, but El Periodico de Aragon (via Hull Live) claimed on Wednesday that he had now been offered to Championship side Hull City to get a proper second tier run of games under his belt.

Hull are the only side namechecked, but apparently, we’ve offered him out to a number of sides so we’ll have to see if there are any takers.
