In a couple of hours time, Wolverhampton Wanderers go into battle against Aston Villa as we make the trip to Villa Park for the EFL Cup fourth round clash.

The expectation is that both sides will make a good number of changes to the starting XI’s, so this could very well be an interesting tie that’s difficult to call, depending on who does actually take to the pitch.

With a fair bit of rotation already this year given our Europa League exploits, there’s a strong belief that head coach Nuno Espirito Santo may even go more youthful this evening as a report in the Daily Mail has claimed that he’ll make ten changes to the group and they believe that having travelled with the group to Bratislava, 16-year-old Chem Campbell will be given his shot and a debut in the game – albeit more likely from the bench.

If he does feature, he’ll replace Morgan Gibbs-White in the history books as our most recent youngest ever player I believe. Second in the all time list, possibly.

They also expect Dion Sanderson, Taylor Perry and Benny Ashley-Seal to feature in some capacity.

It could well be an interesting one.
