Wolverhampton Wanderers have long been credited with having a potential interest in young Napoli midfielder Amadou Diawara, but the listed transfer fee on the rumour mill has always been prohibitive.

A Familiar Name Is Back On The Rumour Mill At Wolverhampton Wanderers

With it being believed that Napoli turned down offers in excess of 40million Euros last summer for the 21-year-old, recent reports claimed that with him falling out of favour under former Chelsea gaffer Carlo Ancelotti, bids in that region would now be more than enough to tempt them into selling.

However, this week, there have now been claims that they have more than halved their original preferred price and that bids in the region of 18million Euros would now be deemed more than acceptable to them.

Again, there is some doubt as looking at last year once he’d recovered from injury he was being used pretty regularly in the second half of the season, but at £18million and plenty of development left for the Guinea international to do, it becomes a potential worthy punt if the Calcio Napoli 24 report is to be believed.
