Fans across the country seem to either love or loathe Stan Collymore but in his recent column for the Mirror the ex-footballer turned pundit has suggested that he thinks Wolves could do far worse than make a move for Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey come the January window.

The 27-year-old Welsh international has spent a decade at the London club and although he appeared to be ready to sign a new deal recently, reports suggested the club had taken that off the table for a reason that I’m yet to fathom, so Collymore isn’t alone in believing they will try and cash in on him come January and with over 330 appearances to his name, he believes Wolves would more than benefit from his talent and equally we would be the perfect fresh test for him.

“It’s the right time for Ramsey as well, because you can stay too long at a club and he could easily go to a top-six side and be a very good option, or to an upwardly mobile club such as Wolves and add even more quality.”

With the Welshman already being linked with potential moves to the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United and some rumblings about moves to some of the bigger European sides, it would also be another statement from Wolves should we have an interest – especially as we keep an eye on our own homegrown quota to stay within Premier League regulations given our way of doing business.
