This week has seen a bit of a left-field link on the summer transfer rumour mill for Wolverhampton Wanderers and we have seen some speculation about the club potentially having an interest in Croatian international midfielder Ivan Perisic.
The Inter Milan player would apparently cost £30million this summer if we wanted to tempt them into doing a deal, and with him only being 30-years-old he still has plenty left in the tank – and with internationals included, he made a whopping 60 appearances in total in 2018/19, scoring 13 times and providing six assists, so he’d clearly be an asset to us as we look to juggle the domestic campaign with Europa League entry.
It’s certainly understandable as to why plenty of Wolves fans on social media were delighted with the speculation from FC Inter News.

I dont care how old he is. Persic is a proper player, still has great pace and stamina.
No one can seriously not want a player this good at our club!?— europa wolf (@MarkEdw98703214) June 13, 2019

Arsenal and Leicester City are also credited with having an interest although the outlet rather lazily seems to class our interest as not being ‘top class’ albeit ‘ambitious’.
