Wolverhampton Wanderers have suffered consecutive defeats in the Premier League, losing 2-0 to Arsenal and 1-0 to Sheffield United, resulting in supporters criticising Wolves’ attack and Raul Jimenez in particular. The 29-year-old has fired blanks in his last three appearances and didn’t even have a shot against the Blades.
Same. Jiménez also looking a bit quiet at the moment. With his wife due to give birth soon he seems a bit risky when you combine form with personal life.

Vardy for sure
– Favorable fixtures
– Golden boot race
– Leicester wants to qualify for UCL+ Jimenez and Wolves as a whole been out of form & shape

Sheffield United deserve that. Wolves were awful. Jimenez had an absolute shocker

Really disappointing- they weren’t very good against the Villa, just played a very poor team. This is 3 on the bounce. Players looked leggy tonight and the ball retention by the likes of Jota and Jimenez was awful.

Awful, Podence to make a start next match, give Jimenez a rest, poor from Wolves

Best out of the three, shows how poor jota and jimenez was. Struggling in final third at the minute mate

What’s your play on Jimenez then?
Terrible stats and poor form… I’m selling for Greenwood in 1ft myself but it’s tough in your position.
Surely nuno will tell them to be more aggressive 🤔— FPL Richard Richard (@FplRichard) July 10, 2020
Deserved that, do not get that change one bit. Take our best attacking player off for a CM, seemed nuno was happy with a point. Keeps jota on who was poor and jimenez who hasn't done a tap today again, nuno takes the blame for me again #wwfc

Against United, Jimenez played for 90 minutes, made 54 touches, completed 89.5% of his 38 passes, created two chances, whipped in two crosses with 50% accuracy, attempted two long balls which failed to reach a teammate, made one tackle, gave away one foul, made three clearances, had one dribble, made one interception and won one free-kick.
The Mexican international joined Wolves on loan from Benfica in 2018 and turned the move permanently for £34.2m in 2019. He’s made a total of 93 appearances in all competitions, scoring 41 goals with 18 assists. Jimenez has scored 24 goals and made 10 assists in 49 games this season, but he’s not hit the back of the net for nearly three weeks.
He’s only had one shot on target in his last three games, so Nuno Espirito Santo may have a decision to make whether or not to rest him against Everton on Sunday.
Here we go, numpty entitled fans pointing the finger when they watch the game through their tinted specs!
If the guy doesn’t receive the ball much he can’t score. I wonder if they realised that he was playing wide and that would have been down to Nuno’s tactics. Did they see him help out in defence and make crucial tackles? I doubt it.
These fans make me yawn and I gave up going onto a fan forum because of the nonsense they come out with.
