“Poetry In Motion” – Wolves Man Makes His Mark On These Fans As He Returns To Action

|

With Wolverhampton Wanderers taking a comfortable victory over Crusaders in the Qualifying Second Round Europa League tie on Thursday evening, fan favourite Raul Jimenez had a big say in the final score.

Having fallen behind early on to a Ryan Bennett own goal, our Mexican international had us level just two minutes later. Bennett made up for his earlier own goal by finding the back of the net shortly before the halftime break to give us the advantage, and Jimenez completed his brace on the day on the stroke of the break. A second half own goal from Crusaders gave us the 4-1 win on the night, to make it 6-1 on aggregate.

With international action for his country this summer, Jimenez is now getting himself back up to speed and with 17 goals across all competitions last season, fans are clearly delighted to see him get off the mark so quickly for us now he’s back in action.
