Both Stefan Postma and Maurice Ross have spoken of their desire to remain at Wolves if not permanently, then at least to the end of the season.

Stefan Postma’s initial 6 month deal expires on January 21st and his agent has said that Postma is happy to stay until at least the end of the season.

Today Piet Buter confirmed there has been contact with the club and negotiations are in the early stages.

Speaking to The Express and Star he said

“I’ve spoken to Jez Moxey and we think it is the best interests of Stefan and the club to try to extend his loan with Wolves,’

‘We don’t want a permanent deal with Wolves or any other club at the moment. We have had contact with other clubs in Holland, but this is the best of two options, the other which is to go back to Aston Villa. But the most interesting scenario for us is for Stefan to stay at Wolves and hopefully help them get promoted.’

Maurice Ross has also spoken of his desire to to stay at Molineux, with a permanent contract being his main goal. Ross has had few chances since joining the club on loan but is hoping his sparkling display against Plymouth has impressed Hoddle sufficiently to make him a transfer target.

‘I haven’t done my chances any harm with my performance against Plymouth. However, I am looking at the bigger picture and I want to earn a contract at Molineux. I have never looked at this as merely a loan spell for me.’ he said, adding

‘I have set my stall out from the start and I will not go back to Sheffield Wednesday – I have made that fairly clear. The onus is on me to impress here.’

‘The manager knows what I am all about as he sees me every day in training. I have given my all since I have been here and hopefully that will be enough.’
