Plenty of Wolves fans have are loving what captain Conor Coady has said about their star player this season.

The Wolves captain spoke about the qualities of his teammate Adama Traore, calling him a ‘fantastic footballer’, but went onto say that he is ‘more importantly, a brilliant person’ on the club Twitter page.

Traore has been something else this season and has gone from strength to strength. According to WhoScored, he has been comfortably the most consistent player with a juicy average rating of 7.54/10, helping chip in with three goals and as many assists.

Playing on the right-wing for the majority of the season, his 4.5 dribbles per game has brought a huge threat to every team that they play against as they try and put up with his pace and strength. Furthermore, he gets fouled 2.5 times per match, helping bring Joao Moutinho’s dead-ball ability into play through free-kicks.

The Spaniard’s form has been so good so far this season that he is now attracting the interest of clubs above Wolves on the ladder.

According to reports from Football Insider, Spurs’ players urged Jose Mourinho to consider buying the winger. Whether these reports are true aren’t particularly important as it’s not as if they have the mandate to start demanding signings, but it is still a good indication of how far the player has come.
