Summer capture Raul Jimenez was the go-to man for Wolverhampton Wanderers’ media team following our victory over Villarreal at the weekend.

Having come on on a loan spell from Benfica earlier this summer, the 27-year-old striker certainly caused a stir amongst the fan base given his performances and effort at the World Cup out in Russia over the summer and for many of us, it was the first time we’d seen him in action.
Since arriving at the Molineux he’s certainly begun winning friends and influencing people with his efforts in pre-season so far and in the media. Whilst he spoke to the in-house club media team to praise his colleagues for fighting back in the match against Villarreal and seeing us come from behind to secure a 2-1 victory, he soon found himself on the end of strong words of praise from Wolves fans for his own efforts on the day.
