Plenty of Wolves fans are seemingly buzzing after the latest rumours about the next stages of the Europa League.

Many supporters may have thought that this year’s competition would never resume again after it was halted to an early stop due to the coronavirus.

Nevertheless, with the Premier League set to return tomorrow as well as many other clubs across Europe in the near future, discussions have begun as to how they will finish the Europa League.

The Wolves and Jorge Mendes quiz: Is the Portuguese agent Nuno's representative?

According to reports coming from football writer Tancredi Palmieri on Twitter, the Europa League final knockout stages could be played between the dates of August 10-21, with the finals being played in Koln.

The second leg of Wolves’ tie with Olympiacos would be played at Molineux.

Here is what some fans are saying about it below…

Despite this being the first time Wolves have qualified for Europe this side of the millennium, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side has already asserted themselves as one of the favourites.

There are still many great sides left, such as Manchester United, Roma, Sevilla, Inter and Leverkusen, but given that the side are sixth in the table and in with a chance of qualifying for the Champions League, that could put them up there with the aforementioned clubs.

Obviously, fans will be distraught that the tournament is likely to finish behind closed doors, but they will still want to see them go all the way nonetheless.
