Wolves play hosts to Cardiff City this weekend, and 2 faces from their recent past.

Following hsi removal from his position as Wolves boss, Jones found his way to Ninnian Park, and made Kevin Cooper one of his first signings, dispeling eth myth that the pair had fallen out whilst both at Molineux.

It will be DJ’s first trip back to the Golden Palace, and whilst he hopes he is well recieved, he is slightly more bullish about his hopes for the final whistle reaction.

‘I hope I’m given a decent welcome because I did a good job for Wolves, but I also want them to boo me at the end,’ said Jones, adding

‘Hopefully, that would mean we had won the game and taken three much-needed points towards our promotion bid.’

Kevin Cooper has been sidelined by a back injury or most of the last month, but his champing at the bit to face his former club.

‘I’d love to be involved against Wolves, and if I can train fully with the first-team squad before the weekend, then I’ll have a good chance,’ said Cooper.

‘Going to Molineux would be special for me. To play for a club of that size and with their history was a fantastic experience and the support they have is outstanding.’ he added.

Hopefully both will recieve a warm response from the Wolves fans, as they did at Ninian Park.

But with the teams tied on 55 points, anything other than a Wolves win will see them leaving Molineux with something other than polite applause.
