Nuno Continues His Search For Wolves First Premier League Win

|

Wolverhampton Wanderers made the shortish trip over to Leicester City and their King Power Stadium earlier today for our second Premier League 90 minutes of the 2018/19 season.

The hosts started brightly where it counts as they had a 2-0 lead going into the halftime break with Matt Doherty being credited with an own goal that he knew little about and James Maddison doubled their advantage, but Wolves can certainly consider themselves unlucky not to have taken anything from the tie.

We had chances of our own though and hit the woodwork, but when Jamie Vardy saw a straight red card in the second half and they more sat back, we were unable to capitalise on the man advantage and the control we had on the game.

Things to work on though and some lessons to be learned but we can again take positives from the match so it’s certainly not doom and gloom and we even saw a debut for summer signing Adama Traore.

All eyes to the next one now.
