With Wolves drawing attention from all over the country and the globe for their meteoric rise the past few years, their players haven’t gone unnoticed either.

In fact, there seem to be many players attracting the interest from teams all around the continent according to ESPN, including Adama Traore, Diogo Jota and Ruben Neves, but there appears to be a battle brewing in North London for Raul Jimenez.

The Mexican attacker – rated at £39m by SofaScored – is allegedly wanted by both Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal; two bitter rivals who seem to be struggling much more than the club he plays for at this current moment in time.

However, even with the threat of coronavirus impacting the amazing work Wolves has done this season, Wanderers have a really strong argument of being in a better position than both of these teams domestically and in Europe.

Could you see Jimenez leaving before the start of next season?

Not a chance

Arsenal and Spurs have both been knocked out, whereas Wolves are supposed to have a game against Olympiacos which could see them into the final eight of the competition. Additionally, looking at the league table, Wolves sit above both of them in sixth while Spurs are eight and Arsenal are 10th.

You can, of course, see why they’d want such a player, even if they both currently own some of the best in the league in Harry Kane and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

So far this season, the forward has managed to score 13 goals in 29 Premier League games and 22 in 43 in all competitions.

However, would that be a step up for the player? At 28, he is likely to have one big move left in him, and would that be worth it for two teams who clearly need rebuild jobs at the heart of their clubs.

At Wolves, he is loved and is the spearhead of a system that plays perfectly to his strengths, so unless a team who is doing better now comes in, it’s hard to see him leave for either of those clubs, especially if they don’t have Champions League money.
