News: Sheffield United handed double injury boost as pair worth a combined £11.7m available

|

Chris Wilder has confirmed that John Egan and Lys Mousset are available for the Blades’ trip to Molineux.

This is a massive boost for Wilder’s men, but it will make our challenge of extending our winning run even harder as both Egan and Mousset are essential to the Blades.

The 23-year-old French striker, who is valued at £5.4m, has been particularly impressive and has scored four goals and provided three assists this season.

For Bournemouth, he only ever scored five goals and provided one assist – so Wilder has worked wonders with a player that the Cherries could never get the best from.

Egan, who is valued at £6.3m, missed the last game with Manchester United, and Wilder’s team conceded three goals.

Phil Jagielka is an able stand-in, but Egan is the key man in this defence.

He has an average rating of 7.03 has made 1.3 tackles and 2.1 interceptions per game.

Who is more important for Sheffield United?

Mousset

Egan

His return will strengthen an already solid defence, and we will have to be at our best to overcome a fully fit Chris Wilder side. It should be a fantastic game, and I can’t wait.
