Lots of Wolves fans have reacted on Twitter to club legends calling up and checking in with older supporters.
With the coronavirus outbreak resulting in rules which keep many of us isolated from society, the club has been doing its bit to keep up spirits by getting some club legends to call some older fans and have a chat.
The club posted a video of the club’s all-time top scorer Steve Bull having a phone conversation with an older supporter, with part of the tweet saying “it’s fair to say he’s a natural”.
How should the season end?
Totally void the entire season
Finish with the current table
Try and complete it in the summer
Bull jokes that he is the “third in line for these calls”, saying that if “you can’t get John Richards or Kenny Hibbert, it’s me”.
Lots of supporters responded to the tweet with affection. One fan even said that they have “never been prouder to be a supporter”, and another called it a “lovely gesture”.
Here are some of the responses below…
A great big thank you to Clare who works for Wolves. She phoned us last week and it made such a difference to my husbands day. Bless you Clare and thank you again Wolverhampton Wanderers xx

Despite Wolves having one of its best seasons in decades halted, the spirit and community of the club does not seem to have been dampened.
The league is set to restart again on April 30, while the Europa League has been suspended until further notice, but with Covid-19 still worsening, it is anyone’s guess for how or whether the season will end up finishing now.
