Nenad Milija? has started a new training program which hopes to bring him back to top fitness.

Serbian International Milija? only featured for an hour against Ghana during the 2010 World Cup, but missed some of pre season due to a holiday.

The stop-start fashion of the last few months has been a set back and now the playmaker has been given a new schedule to get him back up to speed.

‘He needs two or three weeks of intense training to get up to that match level.’ McCarthy told Wolves Official Website.

Mick continued: ‘When he’s at that level he’s got his chance to play again because he’s a terrific footballer.’

Milija? as yet has failed to live up to expectations since coming to Molineux.

Personally much like Sylvain Ebanks-Blake, I backed him last season to make an impact and was very wrong!

But perhaps, again like Ebanks-Blake, perhaps a second season in the Premier League will prove to be his time?

I’ve always felt that the extra bit of quality Milija? has on the ball could be something special for Wolves. He just needs to work on other aspects of his game as we cannot afford to carry him.
