It was another busy day at Wolverhampton Wanderers yesterday as three more players traded clubs.

Arriving at the Molineux was Mexican international forward Raul Jimenez – the deal is subject to international clearance and a work permit.

The 27-year-old moves to us on a season-long loan deal from SL Benfica to become Nuno Espirito Santo’s first new signing of the summer. He has 62 caps to his name for his country, with a return of 14 goals and he is part of the squad travelling to Russia for this summer’s World Cup.

He’s made 120 appearances in total for Benfica, scoring 31 times and providing 15 assists but last season in their title-winning campaign he apparently boasted a goal or assist average of every 75 minutes and he already has a number of winner’s medals under his belt, along with 22 Champions League appearances. He’s also in a select group with a Gold medal to his name from the London 2012 Olympics.

Fans are obviously excited by the capture as we relish a return to the Premier League this season.

In departing news, recent signing Benik Afobe has completed his speculated move to Stoke City. The striker joins them initially on loan but they have an obligation to make the deal permanent in the January window for an undisclosed fee – previously reported as £12million.

Under 23 striker Aaron Collins has also headed out on a loan deal to League Two side Colchester United. He will stay will them for the season and fight for further game time to aid his development. The 21-year-old was with Newport County for ten games last season, and he’s also taken in spells with Tranmere Rovers, Notts County and Maidstone United as well as becoming a regular for Scott Sellars.
