The ongoing saga of Izale Mcleod’s move to Wolves looks close to a resolution

Mk Dons are reported to have accepted bid of £1.4 million, with £800,000 dependent on appearances for the 21 year old.

Mcleod, one of the highest rated strikers in the lower leagues has long been a target of Glenn Hoddle’s, and now after several months of hot pursuit, it looks like he has finally got his man.

Wolves are desperate to find a solution to their problems in front of goal, and Hoddle sees Mcleod as a long term option for the Black Country side.

The saga of Mcleod’s move has dragged on for months and Glenn Hoddle has recently been quoted as saying the offer was no longer on the table, and that the Mcleod money was now tied up in other deals. But MK Dons, finaly realising Mcleod has in his mind already left, now appear eager to do business.MK Dons Chairman Pete Winkleman said

‘We’ve agreed a deal with Wolves,’

‘I’d like Izale to stay but I’ve never stood in the way of a player who wants to progress his career.’ he added
