Striker James McFadden has joined up with the Wolves squad for training.
The Scotland international has been heavily linked with us for weeks and is a free agent after being released by Birmingham City when his contract expired at the end of last summer.
Despite only being 28-years-old he’s been left on the sidelines so far this season, which could be due to the fact that he has previously suffered damaged cruciate knee ligaments 13 months ago and now no-one will take a risk on him.
But just like Owen Hargreaves proved last night for Manchester City, some risks are worth taking and with our current problems up front perhaps this one is worth taking at the moment?
The Express & Star have suggested that he joined up with the squad earlier this week and hopes to impress boss Mick McCarthy.
