As is often the way, when a manager moves on he often likes to eventually be reunited with various members of his training staff and quite often former players too.

At Molineux for example Johan Lange and Patrick Weiser have both previously worked with Wolves gaffer Ståle Solbakken during their previous times at clubs in Europe.

Sławomir Peszko joined Wolves over the summer on loan after previously working with Solbakken at Köln and there are a number of other examples at almost every club when a new manager comes in.

Former Wolves manager Mick McCarthy of course has now moved on to Championship rivals Ipswich Town and he was quickly joined at Portman Road by former Wolves assistant and manager Terry Connor.

The pair were always likely to be reunited once McCarthy got a new job and in a way it’s nice to see them both back in football as they are good hard working honest chaps.

But with the pair only joining Ipswich last month they haven’t had time to make any moves in transfer market, with January their first chance to make a stamp on the squad.

So who will they move for? Well according to our friends over at Vital Ipswich it will be Sylvan Ebanks-Blake.

So head over to Vital Ipswich to read their view on the proposed move.
