Just like a recovering alcoholic in an AA meeting, Mick McCarthy has opened up his heart and told the Wolves fans that he does want to do better.

He doesn’t feel under pressure for his job, he just wants to do better for those that support him in his role as the gaffer.

“I don`t feel bad because of the pressure. The reason I feel bad when we lose games is because of the fans who support me, the people who work at the club – all the people who give me that great support.’ McCarthy told the Express & Star.

He continued: “For all of them, I don`t want this to be anything other than a Premier League club.

“That`s what I feel bad about, that it`s not going better. It`s about letting people down.

“I just feel I`d like to do better for people.”

It’s fair to say that our Mick has always received a mixed reception from us supporters, this very website is a great example of that.

I sometimes read the comments we get below our articles and wonder if the love of Wolverhampton Wanderers is the only thing I have in common with some of the contributors to the site.

Our views and opinions on Vital Wolves can be polar opposites at times and that appears to be the affect Mick McCarthy has on a few of us!

Thankfully on this website we debate our differences, which cannot be said on other websites!

Got something you want to get off your chest? Well this site is perfect for you!

Vital Wolves is now evolving into a top Wolves site!

Vital Wolves is on what we believe to be, the Premier Football Fans Network in the country vitalfootball.co.uk something we are rather proud of!

With news and views on our articles and the ‘Have Your Say’ sections of the site as well as a message board and polls, everything you need in a fans site is right here!

You can even win prizes, just by voicing your opinion on the articles comments, having a laugh on message forums and voting on the polls.

As the Vital motto goes, we are by the fans, for the fans and we are 100% interactive! So get involved! As well as having your say on the articles and the forums, you can also get your view published by suggesting an article or a poll!

We don`t mind what the topic is, as long as it is loosely related to Wolverhampton and isn`t libellous or offensive. We will always do our best to publish your work as long as it is suitable!
