The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.

Wolverhampton Wanderers host Queens Park Rangers on Saturday December 31 for the game at the Molinuex and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Lee Probert
Linesmen: Matthew Wilkes and Dan Cook
Fourth Official: Graham Salisbury

Match Day referee Probert is back this year having taken charge of 19 games in the 2014/15 season. In those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 63 yellow cards and five red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa with a total of six yellows being shown, along with one red. He showed seven yellows in the Accrington Stanley v Wycombe Wanderers game in December.

He has officiated 18 games in 2016/17 with a return of 29 yellow cards and one red card.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
