Ben Marshall is one of three players that have left Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan spells recently.

Earlier tonight Wolves confirmed that having struggled for game time under head coach Nuno Espirito Santo this season – nine appearances after playing 16 times last year – he has now headed out to Millwall for the remainder of the campaign.

His last appearance for us came back in November in the victory over Fulham but he did also feature in the Manchester EFL Cup tie at the Etihad Stadium.

The 26 year old links up with Neill Harris as they sit in 14th place in the table.

Youngster Dan Armstrong has also completed a loan move out to Dunfermline Athletic and the Scottish Championship. He made the move to Wolves from Hamilton Academicals in 2015 and he joins them looking for good game time as they continue to battle for promotion.

Aaron Simpson has also headed to Scotland, but Premier League side Kilmarnock. The full back spent the first half of the year out with Telford United but he now looks to make the step up with Steve Clarke’s men.
