Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Academy graduate Bright Enobakhare continues to go from strength to strength in his loan spell out with League One side Coventry City.

The 21-year-old headed to Scottish side Kilmarnock in the first half of the 2018/19 campaign but he only made two starts and four substitute showings in the Scottish Premiership, but his spell out with Coventry has already seen 14 starting appearances with a return of five goals in the third tier.

Having already come in for plenty of praise, manager Mark Robins was again singing his praises following their nine goal thriller last weekend against Sunderland – Bright scored their opening goal in what became a 5-4 victory.

Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph following the game, he said of our youngster.

“Enobakhare is just unbelievable on the ball. He went through and you could see from minute one today that he was ready for the game. He got into a great position and opened his body up but also the accuracy and to put it beyond the goalkeeper with power and precision was outstanding.”

With the lad out of contract come the summer, most will think his time at Wolves given our change of direction is now over, but he’s doing himself no harm at all when it comes to garnering potential suitors.

We do have a 12 month option on him I believe, and we’ll have to see if we enact that.
