Wolves and Spurs played out a thriller at Molineux.

The entertainment levels and the commitment shown from the Wolves players clearly showed that if we can keep this level up, we will avoid the drop this season.

‘I’m delighted that the players get credited for their quality and I am always proud of their effort and commitment and the way they play,’ our Mick told Wolves Official Website.

We had to come from behind twice to get something out of the game and were even forced to equalise twice late on when referee Mark Halsey disallowed Richard Stearman’s goal.

But with three minutes remaining Steven Fletcher bagged the equaliser to send everyone happy with a 3-3 draw.

He continued: ‘I admire them because they don’t leave anything in the dressing room when they go out on the pitch.’

‘To keep coming back from behind shows what a great group of players I am lucky to have.’

Vital Wolves Comment: Do goalkeepers get too much protection? For me, while clearly biased I didn’t see anything wrong in the Stearman’s goal and yet a foul was given to save Heurelho Gomes.

Just seems a bit soft to me.
