The Mirror is reporting a decision on Cameron Borthwick-Jackson’s future has been made, he’ll return to Manchester United in January with his loan spell at Wolves cut short.

Borthwick-Jackson was signed on a season-long deal from the Premier League side in August but has been limited to just seven appearances for Wolves and hasn’t featured since Paul Lambert replaced Walter Zenga last month.

Lambert has preferred Matt Doherty at left back with the boss explaining his thinking when quoted in this report, also saying he hadn’t made a decision on the future of the 19-year-old.

‘Cameron’s obviously on loan here and hasn’t really featured under me, just because I felt we needed a bit more experience. He’s a young lad, a tidy and nice footballer and he’s got to fight his way to get into the side. But he never lets himself down in training. He trains well. Come January, Kevin Thelwell and myself will start to get the squad we think can help.
“There’s been no official decision on Cameron and won’t be for another few weeks.’

The Wolves boss might not have made up his mind but according to these reports Man United have!

Jose Mourinho will take up a recall option in the New Year and has already included him in their Europa League squad for the second half of the campaign by all accounts.
