It would appear that our very own southbank60 was not alone in his fears over Jarvis’s future following the signing of Hammill and Jez has come out to calm those fears.

Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey has also stated that Michael Kightly’s progressing well in his rehabilitation and hopes to see him back in a Wolves shirt soon as we continue to battle for our Premier League status.

“We`re all trying our utmost to secure our Premier League future so we will need Matt and Stephen Hunt to play a huge part in helping us secure our objective, but Adam`s arrival gives Mick more options for the remainder of the season.’ Moxey told the Express & Star.

He went on to add: “One thing is for certain, we have no plans to sell any of our star players – nothing is more important than staying in the Premier League.

“We remain very optimistic that if the current team stays fit and healthy, then we have every chance of achieving that objective come May.

The E&S also speculate that we’re currently mulling over the idea of signing Senegal midfielder Guirane N`Daw on loan from Saint-Etienne.

The 26-year-old could train with Wolves ahead of any possible move.
