Wolves influential defender, Jackie McNamara has been recalled to the Scotland international squad by coach Walter Smith.

However, Smith has opted not to use the international friendly window for a match.

Instead, the squad will meet up on the Fife coast for a ‘relaxed gathering’ at which he will outline his plans for Scotlands Euro 2008 qualifying campaign, beginning with the giants of The Faroe Isles on September 2nd.
