Injury boost for Wolves as 23-year-old overcomes ‘knock to shoulder’ ahead of Norwich clash

Nuno Espirito Santo has been given an injury boost ahead of Saturday’s meeting with Norwich City, as Adama Traore has been passed fit to play for Wolverhampton Wanderers.

As per Rosie Swarbrick of the Express & Star, the 23-year-old suffered a ‘knock to his left shoulder’ in Wolves’ 2-1 defeat to Tottenham (December 15) and was a doubt to face Norwich.

Traore is back in full training, however, so he should be in contention of starting. It’s good news as the Spaniard has been in fantastic form this season, scoring and creating 10 goals in 26 appearances in all competitions.

He’s contributed a goal in three of his last six Premier League outings and could be key to steering Wolves to victory on Saturday. The Midlands outfit could climb three places in the table to fifth if results go their way.

Ahead of the Norwich meeting, Wolves have picked up only one win in their last four games. It’s worth noting they’ve only lost once in 12 outings, however.

Norwich currently sit 11 places and 12 points below them in the table too, while having gone four games without a win, so Nuno will be confident of getting a result.
